Terms of sale
Last updated: 5 April 2026
This notice explains the terms of sale that apply when you shop with us online.
Who we are
Online sales on this website are offered by The View Port Isaac (referred to as "we", "us"). Correspondence: theview.portisaac@gmail.com. Visit us: New Road, Port Isaac, PL29 3SB, United Kingdom.
Orders and prices
Product descriptions and prices are shown on each product page. Prices are in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to correct obvious pricing errors before accepting payment. If a price was wrong and we cannot fulfil the order at that price, we will contact you before charging you.
Payment
Card payments are processed securely by our payment partner SumUp. When your payment is authorised, you will receive confirmation from the payment provider. A contract for the sale of goods is formed when we accept your order and take payment, subject to availability.
Delivery
Delivery options, costs (if any), and typical timescales are described at checkout and in our shop information. Timescales are estimates and not guaranteed unless we have agreed otherwise in writing. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery to the address you provide.
Cancellations and returns
If you are a consumer in the UK, you generally have a 14-day right to cancel distance contracts under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, starting the day after you receive the goods, subject to exceptions (e.g. certain personalised or sealed goods if opened). You must return goods in line with any instructions we give, unless faulty.
We also aim to be fair on returns beyond that where goods are faulty or not as described, in line with your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Where we have stated a returns window on product pages (for example 30 days), that applies in addition where it is more favourable and does not limit your legal rights.
To start a return or cancellation, email us at theview.portisaac@gmail.com with your order details.
Faulty goods
If goods are faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose, please contact us. Your statutory rights are not limited by these terms.
Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law. Subject to that, our total liability relating to any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order, except where the law requires otherwise.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory rights you may have as a consumer in your country of residence.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page at the time you place an order applies to that order.
